Aguas Calientes Peru

It is the nearest town to the Machu Picchu National Park and the location of the final train station. Aguas Calientes is the city situated at the base of the valley beneath Machu Picchu, also referred to as Machu Picchu village. However, the name Aguas Calientes, which is nestled in a small corner of the mountain, is associated with "hot springs" that can be found there.
