From Poconé, we take the Transpantaneira Park Road, a 32 km stretch of dirt road that takes us directly into the heart of the Pantanal. Here, we will enjoy a photographic safari with stops to observe and photograph the unique flora and fauna of this ecosystem while traveling above the water level. Upon arrival at the lodge, we will be welcomed with a refreshing drink and later take a guided introductory walk in the surroundings, where we will learn about conservation projects that support the region. Upon arrival, we will embark on a canoe to explore the riverside forest and mangroves, home to a colony of giant otters. If we are lucky, we may see them playing with their pups. We will also try piranha fishing, a challenging but fun activity. Lunch will be enjoyed in the jungle under the shade of the trees (*), and we can relax in hammocks for a “siesta.” We return to the lodge for afternoon tea, followed by a walk along the Howler Monkey Trail to the Howler Monkey Tower, our highest observation point at 25 meters, from where we will enjoy an impressive sunset. At night, we will take a nocturnal safari in search of Pantanal animals that become active at dusk.

Upon returning to the lodge, we will enjoy a comforting lunch before continuing with a walk along the Rondon Trail. Our route will take us to a 13-meter observation tower, where we can admire a Jabiru stork nest, the emblematic bird of the Pantanal.
