Day 1: San Cristóbal – Playa Lobería
Arrival at San Cristóbal Island airport, reception by Galápagos National Park guides, transfer, and check-in at the hotel. After lunch, we will visit Playa Lobería, located 10 minutes from the airport. This coral sand beach is home to numerous sea lions. Although outside the National Park boundaries, it is maintained and protected due to its ecological importance. Visitors can also observe birds such as yellow warblers, frigates, and various finch species. The rocks host large Galápagos marine iguanas, unique in the world. Overnight stay.
Day 2: Interpretation Center – Cerro Tijeretas – Playa Mann
The day begins with a walk through the dry forest of Cerro Tijeretas, where you can spot blue-footed boobies, masked boobies, frigates, and other birds. After lunch, we’ll visit the National Park Interpretation Center, where you’ll learn about the origin of the islands and their endemic species. The day concludes at Playa Mann, a white-sand beach formed by shell fragments, ideal for snorkeling due to its clear waters. The beach’s proximity to the town makes it a popular recreational spot and perfect for enjoying stunning sunsets. Activities include snorkeling, swimming, kayaking, and photography. Return to the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 3: 360° Tour
The 360° excursion of San Cristóbal takes you to some of the island’s most iconic destinations. Starting at the San Cristóbal port, a naturalist guide will welcome you and provide an overview of the day.
The first stop is León Dormido, a towering islet in the ocean, where you can snorkel in crystal-clear waters, spotting diverse marine life, including sharks, rays, and vibrant tropical fish. Next, we’ll visit Cerro Brujo, known for its stunning white-sand beach and volcanic landscape. Stroll along the beach, observe sea lions, and spot seabirds nesting on the cliffs.
Following this, we’ll head to Bahía Sardina, an ideal spot for swimming and snorkeling, offering tranquil waters and rich marine biodiversity. In the afternoon, we’ll visit Punta Pitt for a guided hike, enjoying panoramic ocean views and spotting various bird species such as blue-footed boobies, frigates, and gulls.
The day concludes at Bahía Rosa Blanca, a peaceful location perfect for relaxing, swimming, or simply admiring the scenery. Return to the port, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 4: Punta Carola
Punta Carola is a beach located northwest of Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. It stretches approximately 300 meters and is surrounded by dry forest vegetation. Here, you’ll find a large colony of sea lions, as well as marine iguanas resting on the rocks. Activities include surfing, photography, snorkeling, and swimming. After lunch, enjoy free time in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: San Cristóbal
Depending on your flight schedule, your guide will assign a pickup time for your transfer to the airport.
