Day 2: Puerto Natales
Full-day excursion to Torres del Paine National Park
Shared Service
A full day to enjoy two of Magallanes' greatest natural attractions. Departing from Puerto Natales, you will be able to admire forests, glacially formed valleys, mountain ranges, lakes, and—if the weather is on our side—condors along the way. The stop at the Lago Sarmiento viewpoint is the perfect opportunity to capture panoramic photos of the Torres del Paine mountain range, the southern extension of the Andes, and Lago Sarmiento. Another impressive view awaits at the Laguna Amarga viewpoint, a favored spot for flamingos.
Once inside Torres del Paine National Park, we will visit the viewpoints of Lago Nordenskjöld, Salto Grande, Pehoé, Puente Weber, and Río Paine. At Lago Grey, you will have time to explore the area on foot. Exiting the park, the Grey viewpoint offers a chance to capture the majesty of the mountains, the vastness of Lago Toro, and—weather permitting—a section of Grey Glacier. The day continues with a visit to the Cueva del Milodón Natural Monument, where you will be amazed not only by its fauna and flora but also by its prehistoric past.
